After my inquiry re: the veracity of the eACLS, this was the reply from one of the AAPA executive staff. Honestly, I was incredulous AAPA is listed as one of the supporting organizations. Of interest, it is not an acceptable credential at our regional hospital. C M Morris *snip>>* *Charlene* * **What you say is true in that the eACLS course is not approved by the AHA per se. However, nowhere do we or anyone else claim that it is. The eACLS course was developed by ACEP and is approved for AMA and AAPA CME credit.
