I do not intend to imply that TNCC is the same as ATLS because is it designed for nurses, not physicians or mid-level practitioners.  However, Illinois holds frequent TNCC courses, I counted 7 scheduled for April alone.  If you're interested, you can find the dates and contact information for registration at:
