This is a pretty interesting document, asking for advice on what role OSHA should have in disaster planning in terms of equipment, safety of workers, scope of jobs etc. I guess you could be encouraged that they're asking for input or discouraged that they admit that many of their standards are up to 3 decades old. I wonder how well this initiative will be coordinated with other agencies or if it will be another "silo"? I wonder what Dr. Mattox's take on it is.
