PE or VOLUME LOADING

In trauma now virtually the whole world has abandoned VOLUME loading with
crystalloid. If the patient needs BLOOD, then the need for blood does NOT
need a TEE. It has been this strategy that has resulted in some of the lowest
military mortalities since the beginning of military trauma registries.

Perhaps your trust in the technique has been shaken by many who know how to
insert it in the esophagus, but not how to read it correctly

NOPE, I have worked with some excellent anesthesiologist, surgeons,
intensivists, and cardiologist. I find in mitral valve REPAIRS that regurgitation
demonstrated post repair is helpful to change therapy. I find SHUNTS are
diagnosed well by ECHO, I just cannot swallow all of the other
extrapolations made to justify a big un necessary expense.
