Please understand that my response was not in support of anything or any one individual; I was only speaking to the disgusting nature of the response.  Clearly you and I differ in views, but heck, that is what the 1st Amendment is all about!!

Dr. Gross:  Thank you for the support.  :)  I believe that
well-intentioned individuals can differ strenuously on such important
matters.

My experience on the net leads me to believe that the best response to
this sort of behavior, though, is silence.  This allows the individual
to recede into the anonymity he so richly deserves.

I have to tell you that while I do not approve or agree with Ms.
Harper's approach or views on this matter, I most certainly disapprove
of your disgusting reply.   The ability to reply to an offensive
situation without being offensive is what distinguishes us from the
uncivilized.
If this is the only way that you have to respond to someone with whom
you have an issue, then I would personally ask that you please do it off
the list, and leave the rest of us out of your disgusting discourse.
