Good evening.. We are working on a project here in Iowa and as we have progressed, there has been a continuing need to define certain terms. ALS, BLS and FR being the three primary ones I'd like to hear some thoughts on.? I would like to hear how others define these levels, NOT based on Medicare or reimbursement. Do you have it in your state code? How did you reach that definition? IS there a definition written? SOMEWHERE that defined these levels when they were implemented and is still used as the definition guideline today and where might that reference be located. As an example...in Iowa right now, the training and carrying of an AED defines that service as ALS per code.
