Yes, Ron is correct in that Dr. Browner is the chief of Orthopedics at  
Hartford Hospital.   However, Dr. Browner actually introduced this  clamp to the 
world while he was at the Hermann Hospital in Houston.    Ironically, during 
that time, patients at the HH received the clamp, and at the  BTGH almost NO 
patients received the clamp or other external  fixators.    The Chief of 
Orthopedics at the BTGH at that time  did not believe that external fixators actually 
decreased bleeding or altered  outcome.
