Ron Sorry, Ron, there is a great deal more "science" to support permissive hypotension, going all the way back to Cannon in the early 1900's , than there ever was to support the 3:1 aggressive fluid resuscitation using crystalloid. I have found not one, NOT ONE, scientific article in people, to justify the reflex cyclic hyperresuscitation approaches of the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s.
