Sorry, Ron, there is a great deal more "science" to support permissive  
hypotension, going all the way back to Cannon in the early 1900's , than there  
ever was to support the 3:1 aggressive fluid resuscitation using  crystalloid.   
I have found not one, NOT ONE, scientific article in  people, to justify the 
reflex cyclic hyperresuscitation approaches of the 1960s,  1970s, 1980s, 1990s. 
     We have ample science to  support the many complicaitons of aggressive 
excessive use of  crysatlloids.
