We have moved away from high volume infusion of any electrolyte
solution.    
I agree that warmed blood and warmed FFP might be  one place where such
a 
device might be helpful.   I have used it ONCE  as a extracorporal
device for 
rewarming a patient with a fem-fem  setup.
