Let's be clear: living human bone marrow looks and behaves EXACTLY LIKE BLOOD. You should have no trouble aspirating or flushing your IO needle. If you do, distrust its placement. As for significant bone fragments or cores, they're all but unheard of and invariably related to either the tool or the technician. I suspect there's some undertraining going on out there. Pret
