Caesar Two questions: 1) Does he want the season off? 2) When is his next practise supposed to be? The middle cut shows a possible contrast blush, but it may just be a patent vessel. If he is serious about his sport - he will want the spleen out - back in action in 3 weeks! If he is willing to avoid contact sport for 6 months (the recommendation as far as I'm aware), you can offer non-operative management.
