I'm so sorry. It seems so unfair when people die trying to help others.

Subject: Aeromedical Tragedy

A leer jet carrying 6 top providers from the U. of Michigan organ transplant
team (flying donor lungs to Ann Arbor from Milwaukee) went down Monday
afternoon in Lake Michigan shortly after the pilot signaled radioed a
problem. There were no survivors.

Killed in the crash were:

1. Dr. David Ashburn, a fellow in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery
2. Dr. Marinus "Martin" Spoor, are cardiac surgeon and faculty since 2003
2. Richard Chenault II, a transplant donation specialist with the university
transplant program
3. Richard Lapensee, a transplant donation specialist with the university
transplant program
4. Dennis Hoyes, a Marlin air pilot
5. Bill Serra, a Marlin air pilot.

This is a huge and incalculatable loss to humanity. May God find them and
assist them on their journey.
