 I think this "outed" all of us that normally read the list and do not
post. Hence the lurkers like myself are called to action. We are united,
silent, yet brave. Bravo for the exercise.

Forgive me Karim, for I have sinned.    I failed to  calculate the 
overwhelming popularity of the fantastic list server of which you  are
the master.   I 
was unaware of the backend capability of the  server.  I apologize for
not knowing that should even 25% of the list  members respond with
simple response, 
your server would become overwhelmed and  have the possibility of
jamming up.    

As for the undercover work of the secret service of London, we all must
acknowledge that London has the greatest concentration of CCTV cameras
of any  
city in the world.   It is obvious that they are  efficient.   One can
only 
wonder how many thousands upon thousands of  photographs had to be
scoured in order to find this one, UNLESS one of the two  persons in the
photograph was 
already under suspicion for "something" and under  surveillance already.

It would be a natural reflex to claim that I have a twin brother that
looks just like me, but the truth of the matter is that I have sinned
and the London  camera system has "evidence."  The sin though was to
create excessive arthritic pain in your list serve members who had to
prematurely and all too  
frequently strike the delete button.    I am sorry.  I am  sorry that
those who did 
hit the delete button, did not have the opportunity to  tabulate the 
overwhelming response to a (perhaps useful) roll call.    It is possible
to tabulate, 
on an hour by hour basis, responses from different  professional groups,
from 
different parts of the country.   It was of  interest to at least the
sinner, 
that the listing of responders was considerably  different from the
names of 
the usual participants in the list  server.   

I must now ask the judge if this is merely the beginning of the
punishment for a crime, or is this payment in full.  Must I also pay a
usual fine, and  in 
what currency must it be paid.
