Bottom line is that Moore is a goof with an agenda. Granted, he is generating a lot of discussion regarding his latest "masterpiece" however in the end, we'll be able to write it off as a lop-sided take on what the real issue is. P.S. - I live in Canada, however work in the US. I do NOT hold a Ontario Health Card. I see physicians in the superior Michigan Hospitals with the superiour technology and access to care. The area I reside in is an abyss as far as health care and access goes, although the Ontario Government has made claims that it is good. I know from personal experience that access to procedures like angioplasty/open heart in my area results in either a nice transfer to the London area (how great is that for people in my locale) or a nice trip across the water to the Metro-Detroit area. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Perhaps we need to evaluate how great Canadian Health Care (access) really is - especially in underserved areas that do not include Toronto and Montreal. P.S.S - I know for a fact that people die in Canadian ERs. Just like they do in American, and English ERs..... Kind Regards, B. I didn't ask, Pret, Soleto, and you wouldn't - and we now know that Bromberg doesn't. But Moore would. Do you think that Moore would let people in to see HIS movie for free? Do you think he would restrict the release of his movie to only those theaters that let people in for free? I doubt it. Even Bjorn won't pay the $10 to see the movie in a theater - he's gonna rent the DVD. Probably can't afford to go to the movies 'cause he has to pay for his health insurance! Sorry Pret, I had to poke fun at SOMEONE today - I too am in a similar every other night on call for a week mood, much like Bromberg. I am amazed at how seriously we take ourselves sometimes. Ron >>> "Forrest Robleto" <farcpr at gmail.com> 7/3/2007 9:02 AM >>> Moore has said and repeated several times that he would go to an american hospital for some of the best medical care in the world. He also said that he can afford to do so because he has very good insurance because he is a member of a union.
