Ken Maybe i'm just old fashioned, working in a country with much less (but not zero) litigation. The benefit of a test in the short-term muyst outweigh the longterm risk - In my book that is the answer: so if the possiblity of the pseudoaneurysm complicating and leading to morbidity in the short-term (we know this is possible) is high, then either treatment (in my book a stent) or follow-up outweigh the 1:2000 risk of a malignancy. That is how I would explain this to a patient. Then they can say yea or nay!
