Patient has NO fever. We did get BARIUM esophagogram. Gastrographin is
unreliable and contraindicated as it is often followed with barrium. I have
seen many where the gastrographin was negative, but the barium was positive.
We also got a formal aortogram and selective arteriograms of any
suspecious areas. The CT and CTA were re-read after these other tests and the
radiologist who is strongest in support of CT, STILL says the CT adds NO NEW
INFORMATION which was not present on the plane chest X-ray and was worthless
WORTHLESS in determining any thing which might have been found on the aortogram
or the esophagogram. We planned to go to OR and do esophagoscopy and
bronchoscopy after the aortogram.

I will tell you the results of these tests in the AM and then the questions
for this case REALLY get interesting. Get ready for many more decision
nodes.
