Patient with oral bleed

Dear Friends , 

I packed both the nasopharynx with the foleys catheter but the bleeding did not stop . Is packing oral cavity effective . I believe it may not be because it is a big cavity . It was not possible to take the patient immediately to angio as in our hospital the angio facality are not next door to the resuscitation centre, and the condition of the aptient ( hypovolemic shock) did not gave any time to think of shifting . 

The worst part was that I helplessly saw patient dying in front of me .
