I recommend that someone from Chicago write a fitting eulogy to Bob Freeark  
for J. Trauma.  
 
Dr. Freeark was a visionary.   He was among 6 different surgeons  who claimed 
to have the "first" trauma center in the country.    Depending on the 
specifics of the conditions of a definition, he was the  first. His Scudder Address 
was also visionary-The Accident Hospital.   He was an extremely active member 
of all of the organizations on which he was a  member.   
 
His shadow extends a long way and his shoulders are broad upon which many  
persons now stand.
