Pret, On page 148 of the new book it states that a deficiency in a level I,II or III, would be if "radiologists are not promptly available, in person or by teleradiology, when requested, for the interpretation of radiographs, performance of complex imaging studies, or interventional procedures". On page 64 in the radiology section it basically has the same wording, that radiologists must be promptly available, in person or by teleradiology. Hope this helps. Assume that quality is monitored within the performance improvement process, and that interventional radiology is available promptly. -- trauma-list : TRAUMA.ORG To change your settings or unsubscribe visit: http://www.trauma.org/traumalist.html
