Zunorain, > I am still searrching for any good references for analgesia in trauma. maybe you want to be a little bit more precise. Analgesia from scene to hospital, in ER, before operation, for operation, after operation, in ICU? There are many ways to skin the cat and - basically - it depends on what resources you have and which analgesic you are used to. For me either ketamine or fentanyl in the severe traumatised patient do pretty well from scene to ICU, in other cases small shots of morphine, piritramid or (again) ketamine will be fine. As stated above - it depends... Hope this helps. Happy new year to all my friends on trauma org around the world! Mathias
