Okay, boys, settle down. This is called "quibbling." I hold a
doctorate in it.

Dr. Gross was exaggerating; Mr. Bowman was literating. Dr. Gross
counter-literated. Quibbling.

Let's agree that safe and nonetheless expedient transport is the single
most important maneuver in the treatment of major injury, and move on.
At a prudently high speed.

OMG! I never said I PASSED math in school!

OK so make it 15 minutes, professor, and fail me in multiplication - I
do think you caught my initial drift, eh?

And please tell me that you have NEVER, EVER driven an ambulance faster
than 60 mph. If you do, I have some ocean-front property in Arizona for
sale that you might be interested in............ ;-)

60 miles per hour = 1 mile per minute = 15 miles in 15 minutes.

Are you suggesting that ambulances should go nearly 120 miles per hour
to
make it to the Level I in 8 minutes when it is 15 miles away??

I cannot perform good care at that speed. Plus it is very dangerous for
crew, patient and public.

Andrew
