Yes I got the point, 2 trauma centers, 15 miles apart, bad patient = go to
level 1.

Yes I have gone faster than 60mph on the way to the scene, rarely on the way
back and usually cussing at the driver (usually a fireman) to slow down so I
and my partner can work.

OMG! I never said I PASSED math in school!

OK so make it 15 minutes, professor, and fail me in multiplication - I do
think you caught my initial drift, eh?

And please tell me that you have NEVER, EVER driven an ambulance faster than
60 mph. If you do, I have some ocean-front property in Arizona for sale
that you might be interested in............ ;-)

60 miles per hour = 1 mile per minute = 15 miles in 15 minutes.

Are you suggesting that ambulances should go nearly 120 miles per hour to
make it to the Level I in 8 minutes when it is 15 miles away??

I cannot perform good care at that speed. Plus it is very dangerous for
crew, patient and public.

Andrew
