this thread  reminds me of the snow snakes, they reach up and grab you when you ski by....causing a fall and knee injury

that's not giving enough credit to the famous 'jumping trees'....the ones  
who stand by innocently until a drunk driver comes by and then jumps out into  
the middle of the road trying to scare the drunk sober...
