You might want to read the rest of the post, and the one that follows
before you decide to propose, with your "heretical view", something as
silly as this based solely on a fragment of a thought taken totally out
of context, and removed from the post it was originally written in.
Just my humble opinion, heretical or otherwise...  ;-)

Dear colleagues,
Instead of Trauma we recently became experts on gun debates.
I really can't understand this obsession with gun possession in
America
I saw somewhere in your messages ,repeated the insertion ,  ...guns
don't
kill - the people holding them do the killing
Well,on a parallelism ,I may say ,let's give all nations the right to
have
nuclear weapons.,while ,nuclear weapons don't kill - the people holding
them
do the killing.
My heretical view.
