In a message dated 4/13/2007 2:24:01 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, Krin135 at aol.com writes: I'm surprised that you have had that much trouble getting a hearing at the local EOC level in that case, as I have had a much better reception in rural Louisiana and Missouri in the past. Have you tried talking to the Medical Director of the DMAT in Houston? We have NOT had trouble communicating in Houston. My discussions have been with the integrated trauma network that includes trauma, the TransStar officials, the mayor, the county judge, the appointed directors of Joint Unified Command. DMAT was a problem for many reasons during Katrina. In my view, DMAT needs to be significantly reorganized. k ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
