In a message dated 4/6/2007 11:53:50 AM Central Daylight Time, Rgross at harthosp.org writes: And the collective responses will be, "I was too busy getting rich" or "I was too busy taking care of the sick and injured indigent population to pay attention to anything else that was happening around me". Either way, the responses are simply a couple of lame answers to why we, as a profession, have remained so silent for so long about so much. And if we continue to remain silent, the politicians, insurance companies and liberal spenders (and no, I am not pointing at the "Liberals" - at least not just yet!) will continue on with business as usual! another, more germane, if no more effective response would be: 'We were forbidden to organize to negotiate better conditions for our patients'... ck Charles S.
