Absolutely needed DVT prophylaxis. Should be 30 mg BID...but depends on BMI. 30 BID assumes "normal" BMI range...ie, not obese or beyond AND normal renal function See: Optimal Dose of Enoxaparin in Critically Ill Trauma and Surgical Patients Journal of Trauma-Injury Infection & Critical Care. 58(6):1167-1170, June 2005.
