Hi Scot; We are just trailling the AirTraq in NZ. Completly agree with you about the time to warm up and in urgent situations. Light is fab once up though as is the lens you look through., and so is the price! Rep's here as you stated; say they cannot reduce the time to warm up the light. One of the ideas we also gave to the rep was to close the track that the tube goes into from the end tip up about 3cm, just to help hold the tube in place, especially with smaller tubes. And it is a very good prized disposable intubatingscoop for some 37 euro. I have used the first version a few months ago and it works great. But the version that is now on the market in the Netherlands has a strange twist: When you turn it on, the lightbulb starts to blink for 2 whole minutes, to warm it against condensation. I have talked to the representatives of the company and they are only willing to reduce it to 1 minute. For me still to long in case of emergency. M.G.M. (Costs ~£38 sterling) I chose the second image, which isn't brilliant ,but it shows a bougie passing through the cords, viewed through the device.
