WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST ?

Dave, I think the bougie is approved in Massachusetts. I do however, think
that your medical control physician needs to approve the training and
implementation for its use. I maybe wrong but I think you are able to have
it on board the trucks. By the way I'm not sure if you saw my posting on
the Howland locks. Check them out.
Anthony Caruso.

Larry,

I dont know if you have been following the other topic about the flex tip
ETT introducer (bougie), but I saved most of the replies from the list, I'd
be happy to send you the replies, if you are interested. I have experience
with the combi-tube, and it works as a back up airway device. I'm interested
in using the bougie out in the field once it gets approved in MA for ems!!

Reasons for an advanced airway:(trauma-medical-burns), and the places you
may be intubating,( the box, a darkly lighted small room in a house-on scene
of a MVC), what do you suggust as a back-up to the ETT. A Combi-tube, a LMA
or a bougie ? Thanks for any input. Larry Ofiara, R.N.
