What role do you think the Advanced Trauma Operative Management Course (started by Len Jacobs et al in Hartford) plays in these discussions, if any?

There is a SIGNIFICANT need to develop a specific MILITARY ATLS, totally  
separate and distinct from the PHTLS and the Austere environment  ATLS.   In 
many 
ways several of the current military surgeons on this  list have already 
written it, and now it MUST be codified.   ACS COT  ATLS committee and new 
leadership,   give this some real  thought.
