ATLS - Unifying communication tool

Internationally, ATLS has created a focused uniform language for  trauma.   
It has brought the medical treating personnel from around  the world together.  
 It is NOT designed to be a technical course in  how to operate, nor how to 
take care of patients in the ICU.   It is  the beginning on how the rescue,  
field treating, EMS, emergency medicine,  and surgeons all talk to each other.  
WONDERFUL.   If but we  could have a common language and understanding in 
other areas as well.
