Those credentialed by the hospital to do a task should use the hospital facilities. The resuscitation area of the hospital for the trauma system is the shock room in the Emergency Department and should be considered to be like an extension of the Operating Room. As such, one could and should make the assumption that if anyone "OWNS" this area it is the surgeons. k
