I can offer my 2 cents worth of experience.  Working EMS previously I was 
called to innumerable pts after they were Tazed.  The fatalities my agency 
ran into were 100% illiceit drug users under the influence of stimulants 
(methampetamine, cocaine).  Their cardiac arrests looked like MI arrests 
according to the paramedics I spoke with, and dissimilar from traumatic 
arrests.  I suspect that a large number of these persons have dilated 
cardiomyopathies from long standing drug abuse (in addition to obese 
habitus).
