Are there questions you may have and are there things we should know about him. Answer: Yes. He has led a hard life and we think he had some infections. He has used drugs in the past. But he is now a good man with a good family. Do what you must do, and you have our permission to operate again whenever it is necessary. Being in The Bronx, it would be important to get an HIV test on this patient ASAP. Should any of these three individuals require post exposure prophylactic (PEP) it is important to implement it <36 hours after injury & the sooner the better. ~doug~
