Technology in search of an Indication

Hey james

We also use it at my air med program. It was just approved for peds as well
and also in the humeral head insertion (I have the guidelines here if you
need them). They are also working on adding the illiac crest as an optional
site.

I love them.

The EZ IO is becoming the standard of care in many EMS systems in our area
and we are very happy with its success so far.

But it's a tibia site not sternum.

ER docs at my hospital want to put in sternal IO lines in adults. They seem

to think it is easier than a cutdown, peripheral or central line. I told
them
it was a bad idea.
