I have temporarily put a hold on emails from jacobjns to see if that makes a difference. However Sue is right that it is unlikely that he/she is actually the one with the infected computer. Can I ask all list members, in preparation for the new year, to make sure your virus-checker is up to date and you have fully scanned your computer for viruses. Karim -----Original Message----- From: trauma-list-bounces at trauma.org [mailto:trauma-list-bounces at trauma.org] On Behalf Of Bill Griggs Sent: 30 December 2006 08:45 To: Trauma & Critical Care mailing list Subject: Re: Trojan (was RE: trauma-list Digest, Vol 42, Issue 32) Sue, I understand how these viruses/trogans often work but in this case I think you may be wrong when you say these are not coming through the list. This is because the virus containing emails have also been coming as part of the digest for the last few digests. As the digest arrives containing a block of emails, does it not mean that all the emails in it have been processed by the list server to get into the digest? I have deleted all but the last four digests but below is the summary that came with each of these digests all showing the virus email. All 4 of them show the virus containing email (price_ 2X-Dec-2006 (Jacobjns)), and all of them came labelled trauma list digest. >From trauma-list Digest Vol 42 Issue 31 Today's Topics: 1. But maybe the trauma list server is not catching them? regards Bill Griggs Adelaide ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sue" <suefire6 at charter.net> To: "Trauma & Critical Care mailing list" <trauma-list at trauma.org> Sent: Saturday, December 30, 2006 9:45 AM Subject: Re: Trojan (was RE: trauma-list Digest, Vol 42, Issue 32) > Pret, et.al., > > These messages are not going through the list.
