Attached is the Hartford Hospital "Brain Death" protocol.  Perhaps this
would help.

To all of you on the list - and I do mean ALL - please let me take this

non cerebral active circulation or massive brain tissue
destruction,for
example medulla oblongata contusion or massive haemorrhage, and

is likely  inaccurate to distiguish unsurvivable injury from cerebral
death,
and very dangerous field due to easy misdiagnosis if rigidly using
these

maybe if someone who knows precise definition of those terms should
clarify
them for us who don't
