Hey, I just wanted to throw in my little secret that has helped me out in a
few circumstances.  It's called the howland lock.  Works best with Miller
blades.  It takes the normal blade/scope angel and adds a 45 degree curve to
it.  For those who have not seen/heard of it here is a link as to what it
is.  Many of the O.R.'s in this area have them as a back up.

Damn fine piece of equipment. Bailed me out of a couple of tight spots 
before. Here in SA it is pretty much left up to the individual to get 
hold of  one. Was  introduced to it by an anaethetist friend of mine. 
Every intubator should have one.
