What is the corelation between negative and positive late Abd US abd late appearing physical findings ? K -----Original Message----- From: "Dean Lutrin" <deanlutrin at gmail.com> Date: Tue, 24 May 2005 17:32:23 To:"'Trauma & Critical Care mailing list'" <trauma-list at trauma.org> Subject: RE: pre hospital fast reply to K and ERF Our bosses insist on at least 2 sonars at least 12 hours apart... hopefully will lower the miss rate... We hardly CT abdomens... resource limitations etc... If negative on 2 ultrasounds and clinically benign - we feel pretty safe. Andrew Bowman bowel injury - the only thing FAST may "miss" (due to minimal intial fluid) that CT may also miss. -- trauma-list : TRAUMA.ORG To change your settings or unsubscribe visit: http://www.trauma.org/traumalist.html -- trauma-list : TRAUMA.ORG To change your settings or unsubscribe visit: http://www.trauma.org/traumalist.html Sent via BlackBerry, return via KMattox at aol.com
