Not sure that it matters so much.....nobody seems to complain about radial A lines or even to occasional DP line.......... The research was presented at the Air Medical Transport Conference and demonstrated no significant difference in blood pressure readings taken with the cuff placed in the usual position (upper arm) vs. the forearm using a Propac monitor during transport in a helicopter.
