Yes, I am a skeptic, because I have been burned in every hospital in which  I 
work.   I have learned from my surgical critical care friends that  they too 
have been badly burned by echocardiogram intrepretation of cardiac  function 
and attempts to calculate a cardiac output or ejection  fraction.   Pure 
fiction.
