Not to worry - it doesn't happen too often  ;-)

No local.  Sternal pop is site of choice - easy to locate and define
(especially in the dark), hard to miss dead center (pardon the bad pun -
unintentional), and easy to stabilize.

Do they give local?  Do they go down to periosteum with the local?
In what order do they(you) use which sites for IO in the combat
situation?
