The other 3 services refused/aborted (the first service actually took
off flew for 5 minutes then returned to base) because of weather
concerns, in particular fog. There has been no report of why RegionalOne
accepted over the other refusals. In the meantime the crew on scene
spent nearly 1 hour waiting for a helicopter to pick the patient up,
instead of driving the 1 hour to their choice of 3 Level I Trauma
Centers (On scene ~4:20, helicopter lands ~5:20).
