19 yo M involved in MVC 7/5. Found on workup to have C4 fx involving the inferior aspect of the vertebral body as well as the lateral mass of the L side. The vertebral artery demonstrates no flow distal to this fx but also shows no extravasation. A left paracentral disk protrusion and possible small bony fragment is seen at the C4-5 level extending toward the foramen compromising the exiting L C5 nerve root. MRA confirms no flow in the L vertebral artery. He has no neurologic deficits at this time. Strength is maintained in all cervical root levels at this time. What next? Coil the L vertebral? Anticoagulate the patient? Leave him alone? Any radiographic followup necessary? Thanks, jcw -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
