Stem cells and spinal cord injury

Does any one know of any research going on at the moment into the use of 
stem cells for the "treatment" of spinal cord injury? I believe that 
something along these lines has been undertaken in Israel but I can't find 
any articals on it. I have tried pub med etc.

Any suggestions greatfully received. Appologies for it not being an acute 
trauma question.
