Are you serious? 90% of medicine is based on anegdotes. If we had some good data out there we would not be having this discussion, I'd just say- here read this and that would be that. Have you ever seen data which prooves that O2 is of any use in hypoxia? I haven't. Does not make it wrong to use it though. The 2 patients I intubated without drugs- 1 died, the other walked out, but he was not a trauma patient. The one that died though was pretty much brought in dead and did not stop breathing as I was watching him. There are too many variables don't be naive we'll probably never get decent data for it and that's why we have doctors and not computers treating patients. Martin
