By the way - forgive my ignorance, but what is "They Might Be Giants"???? >>> UrsicC at SESAHS.NSW.GOV.AU 08/03/04 08:00AM >>> To be frank, I am just a bit shocked that any of my colleagues and peers would consider an illegal action justifiable, under any circumstance. Ron Gross Oh, C'mon, Ron, really now. Illegality is such a broad, nebulous term with so many variables that I find it shocking that you'd get so 'shocked' at the mere mention that breaking a law is somehow beyond the scope of a doctor "under any circumstance." Haven't you ever coasted through a stop sign? Wouldn't you exceed the speed limit on the freeway if it was safe to do so in order to respond to a call about a patient shot and exsanguinating in your ED? Didn't you ever tape a They Might Be Giants album for your girlfriend back in med school? There are crimes and then there are 'crimes.' I am in no way advocating that anyone make a profit or in any way dilute the content or value or message of ATLS by conducting an ATLS-like course, much less falsely advertise themselves as a legitimate ATSL course when they were not.
