Blunt cardiac injury was considered, but was
practically ruled-out (hypovolemic profile on the PA
catheter measurements, no cardiac arrhythmia, no
reduced function on TEE, and even normal troponin
levels). There was also no sign of spinal injury
clinically or radiologically.
