You must be new:  If it's not obvious, I'm unlikely to be aware of it.

The half-life of Narcan is 60-90 minutes, give or take.  Although I admit,
when you're trying to fight off an armload of heroin, all bets are off.

Thanks for the insight, everyone. Pret, you state the obvious. However, if
the surgeon in my ER is of the opinion that he/she needs to assess abdominal
trauma in an unadulterated state, is hours of pain preferable to the narcan
alterative? Isn't the half life of narcan minutes not hours? Still, thanks
for the opinions and facts regarding SE of narcan...
