G'Day colleagues,
I was wondering what the current thoughts, practices, protocols etc. are 
elsewhere regarding the sandbaging, head taping or other modes of 
stabilisation of pt's with suspected c-spine injury within the Emergency 
Department.
Presently, where i work, while c-spine collars are of course implemented 
heads are rarely taped and sandbagged (esp in conscious 'co-operative' pts)
any construtive thoughts, criticisms, whatever.... are appreciated.
